Adrian Pelletier Interview

Interivew with Adrian Pelletier at shiftingcreations.com

Marko: Heya Adrian!

Marko: For our reader’s could you tell something about yourself? (year old and other stuff)

Adrian: 20 years old, living in the US. Current student and have been ready to graduate since the day I started college (like working for money, not grades).

Marko: How are you doing these days?

Adrian: Really can’t complain. Taking advantage of the free time school lends me and learning what I want outside of the classroom.

Marko: When did you first encounter a keyboard or computer?

Adrian: Surprisingly, pretty late in life (mid high school probably). It wasn’t until about a two years ago that I gained an interest in web design and before that, all I used a computer for was typing Word documents.

Marko: What is your favorite art work /website!?

Adrian: Goodbrush.com has always been a favorite. Deviantart.com is also a regular.

Marko: when you launched shiftingcreations.com are you happy with the result of the site?

Adrian: Sure. The site has undergone about 3 or 4 transformations in the last couple years and is about due for another. I owe credit to www.shiftingcreations.com for gaining me some great internships and clients. It’s also a great testbed for whatever I’m learning next.

Marko: What do you do in your spare time (We realize that spare time, in this context)

Adrian: Lots of stuff. Like I said, computers have been just a small part of my life. At my age and where I am career wise, I’m more concerned with learning than perfecting any one strength. Especially in the computer world, everything changes so fast! When I’m not building a website, I’m interested in anything outdoors, with an engine, or family-related. And don’t forget the gym!

Marko: Do you have a favorite drink? How much of it do you drink?

Adrian: Milk? Only drink that which tastes good.

Marko: Would you care to give us a brief overview of what a typical day is like for Adrian?

Adrian: No day like the last, always something new.

Marko: I am always wondering how people such as yourself go about getting work? How do you do it?

Adrian: Word of mouth, usually.

Marko: Who are some of your biggest influences?

Adrian: Family, without a doubt.

Marko: Is your background in design? What was the progression into web development and design like?

Adrian: Never saw it coming, really. Always been a Jack-of-all-trades; web design caught my interest and seemed like the next best thing to learn.

Marko: If you where not a designer/programmer what would you be?

Adrian: A very bored man.

Marko: How do you like our site mcville.net?

Adrian: Pretty clean, something new too, I like it.

Marko: If you could change something on mcville what would it be?

Adrian: work on the CSS and ditch the tables.

Marko: What kind of music do you fancy?

Adrian: Anything but rap.

Marko: What’s your favorite food?

Adrian: Free food, like to eat often.

Marko: Where do you get out on Saturday’s?

Adrian: Always up for a good drive.

some relaxing question to follow

Marko: Chinese or Thai (food)?

Adrian: No thanks, not a fan of either.

Marko: Coke or Pepsi?

Adrian: Stopped drinking soda.

Marko: html or css?

Adrian: Both, one compliments the other.

Marko: Do you watch television? If so, do you have a favorite show?

Adrian: Poor college student, no tv. Discovery channel has some cool stuff when I get the chance.

Marko: What would we find in your favorites bookmarks-bar?

Adrian: Slashdot, Screenspire… any web resources I think I might want later.

Marko: What inspires you? This doesn’t have to be design related.

Adrian: Family and the good people around me.

Marko: Thank again for having this interview Adrian ,Cheers!

Adrian: Thank you!
