Marko: Hello Mario !
Mario: Hello Marko
Marko: For our reader’s could you tell something about yourself? (year old and other stuff)
Mario:I’m 37, moved from north to south Sardinia and live alone.
Marko: How are you doing these days?
Mario:I’m a bit stressed in this period, working on several freelance jobs and trying to write something on my blog,
Marko: When did you first encounter a keyboard or computer?
Mario:The first time was in the 1984, my father bought me a ZX Spectrum. I was so shoked
about that machine that in the same year I was in a computer science school.
Marko: What is your favorite art work /website!?
Mario:mmmh really I don’t have one
Marko: when you launched mariocarboni.com are you happy with the result of the site?
Mario:I’m always unsatisfied about it, but its fair to say that I’m having a lot of jobs so I’m happy
Marko: What do you do in your spare time (I do realize that spare time, in this context, is pretty relative)?
Mario:I love scuba diving and when I have some free time I dive
Marko: Do you have a favorite drink? How much of it do you drink?
Mario:I like wine, beer, coffee and tequila but do not drink so much! burp
Marko: Would you care to give us a brief overview of what a typical day is like for Mario Carboni?
Mario:Well, I’m also a teacher, so in the morning I am at scholl, about at 2 p.m. I back home for lunch.
watch the TV while eating pasta or a sandwich and then spend my time in front of a monitor till the night.
Marko: I am always wondering how people such as yourself go about getting work? How do you do it?
Mario:My work came from recommendations and from my site (enquiries).
Marko: Who are some of your biggest influences?
Mario:All and nobody, I mean I’m not influenced in particular from nobody,
but look at the web in general.
Marko: Is your background in design? What was the progression into web development and design like? How did that take place and why?
Mario:My background is not in design, I have a diploma in computer science and studied natural Science, but I love drawing
so… :)
Marko: If you where not a designer/programmer what would you be?
Mario:maybe a marine biologist
Marko: How do you like our site mcville.net?
Mario:I like… but its too much black and white ;)
Marko: What kind of music do you fancy?
Mario:Marko I’ve played the drum for 14 years in a R&B band so I let you imagine…
Marko: What’s your favorite food?
Mario:Really I can’t answer to this question, may be all Italian food,
in July I was in Mexico and I tryed the real mex food, I miss it now.
Marko: Where do you get out on Saturday’s?
Mario:to eat something of course!

Marko: Chinese or Thai (food)?
Mario:Italian and just a bit Thai
Marko: Coke or Pepsi?
Mario:Coke
Marko: html or css?
Mario:css
Marko: Do you watch television? If so, do you have a favorite show?
Mario:Not so much, first of all the day has only 24 hours and second after 20 min i’m bored
Marko: What would we find in your favorites bookmarks-bar?
Mario:Loads of web dev bookmarklets, links to design blogs and to photo blogs
Marko: What inspires you? This doesn’t have to be design related.
Mario:Nature, music, people… everything.
